About Event
Hackatronics 2nd Edition is a 24-hour hackathon organized by the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) at VIT Chennai, co-presented with IEEE Photonics Society and IEEE VTS. Running from 8 AM on September 1 to 8 AM on September 2 at the Nethaji Auditorium, VIT Chennai, the event brings together student teams of 2–4 members to build and deploy projects across six domains: IoT, AI/ML, Autonomous Vehicles & Navigation, Healthcare, Disaster & Emergency Response, and Open Innovation (Hardware + Software, no domain restriction).
Participants will have access to a prize pool of ₹8,000 for winning teams. Now in its second edition, Hackatronics is built for students who want to move past ideation and actually build, hack, and ship something real within a single continuous sprint.
